Chaptronics refines innovation by designing and building all the educational products used throughout SG ED., including, The Tutor Lamp, Electric Project Kit, Magnet Poles, Robot Playfield, The Magic of Science Experience, and other custom built educational products and services.
Tutor Lamp
Tutor Lamp is both a device and a tutoring service. The Tutor Lamp is a device used by both student and tutor to facilitate online communications, it's like being there in person. Tutor Lamp tutoring is the online meeting place for students and tutors, and is safe, simple and successful.
Magic of Science Experience
In this fun, entertaining, interactive, educational, and playfully instructive show about electromagnetism, attendees are invited to participate in each "magical" trick. The show appeals to people of all ages and exposes the beauty of nature and how our natural world is magical.

Meet SG ED’s founder and your educational guide - Glen Chapple.
Teaching and technology are his passion…STEM should be his middle name as he has spent his whole life surrounded by it.
He was born, raised and resides in the city known as the Cradle of Aerospace…Hawthorne, CA.
Glen was STEM influenced from an early age by his father who spent his career working at Space Park for TRW, in Redondo Beach, as an electronics technician, helping to build satellites for national defense.
Glen interned at Northrop Aircraft Company during his senior year of High School, and following that summer he was hired to help build the fuselage of the Boeing 747 Jumbo Jetliner.
Fun fact about the buildings where Glen worked, they are the very same buildings SpaceX now uses to build their space rockets, near the Hawthorne Municipal Airport.
Glen earned his Electrical Engineering Degree at UCLA. Following his passion for teaching and technology has lead him to become a well respected and admired S.T.E.A.M. educator.
