Student Testimonials

This program influenced me to pursue engineering, innovating, and learning. At first I wanted to do structural engineering, now I will think about mechanical engineering because I find my new interests and passion lies in that field.
- Kirsten E.
I would recommend this program for friends interested in a STEM career, or more specifically a technology & engineering career. They will get a lot of experience, learn a lot, meet a lot of good people, & have a fun time doing it.
- Haylee H.
I will recommend this program because you get to learn a whole bunch of things, like understand how robotics works, and learn all the subsystems and be able to work on your problem-solving skills!
- Stephanie R.

Meet SGE’s founder and your educational coach - Glen Chapple.

Teaching and technology are his passion…STEM should be his middle name as he has spent his whole life surrounded by it.

He was born, raised and resides in the city known as the Cradle of Aerospace…Hawthorne, CA.

Glen was influenced from an early age by his father who spent his career working at Space Park for TRW, in Redondo Beach, as an electronics technician, helping to build satellites for national defense.

As a senior in High School, Glen was in the High School Involvement program (HIP); below you can watch a Northrop commercial featuring Glen at work.

Following High School, Glen began working at Northrop Aircraft Company helping to build the fuselage for Boeing’s 747 jet airliner.

Fun fact, he worked in the very same buildings that SpaceX now uses to build their Falcon 9 space rocket.

Glen earned his Electrical Engineering degree at UCLA and brings much to the S.T.A.R.T. Program from that experience.

Educational Coaching services are available, please contact SGE for more information.
